So, we're back. Going back to work, and camp, and preschool, blah blah blah. I had over 100+ posts from you guys in my Google reader of all the blogs I read, and I may have just hit "mark all as read" because, wow, that's a little overwhelming. I will visit you all slowly and catch up. Hopefully.
Drew is planning for his birthday, this Friday. He has two loose teeth, and is hoping he can wrangle both out of his head by Friday, at the same time. I don't know what he plans to do if he gets desperate, and I have no intention of finding out ahead of time. Two words: Plausible Deniability. No Ma'am, Ms. CPS Lady, I don't know how that happened.
Ahem. ANYWAY, he is getting desperate because he has decided, in his little math-focused brain, that leaving two teeth for the Tooth Fairy on your birthday is like the MOTHERLODE. He's using Scrabble Math - one upper incisor + one bottom tooth (x Birthday) = Enough $ for a Nintendo Wii. He has it all planned out.
He's already getting a Wii, its upstairs in my closet. Did I mention my husband has somewhat of a gadget compulsion? I gave up fighting this battle when the friends we visited in California brought their Wii out to play and two hours later my husband may have complained that his tendonitis was acting up. Meanwhile, the kids had long gone back outside to shoot water guns at each other. He's also been trying to sell me on the joys of building your Wii Avatar (called a Mii, give Mii a freaking break) to look like Kim Jong Il. I'm going to be ill, myself.
